Introduction
Contractors working for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia operate under some of the most detailed HSE requirements in the energy sector, and permit errors, missed gas tests or gaps against the Construction Safety Manual lead to stopped work, audit findings and serious incidents. This coreconcept KSA course trains contractor supervisors and safety staff to apply the GI 2.100 Work Permit System, the related General Instructions and the Construction Safety Manual correctly on site. Through inspection walkthroughs of hot work, confined space and construction scenarios, participants build an Aramco Contractor Site HSE Compliance Pack for their own contract.
Course Objectives
- Navigate the Saudi Aramco HSE document hierarchy and identify which requirements apply to a given contract and site
- Apply the GI 2.100 Work Permit System, including permit types, roles, gas testing and isolation, to planned work
- Implement the Construction Safety Manual's contractor administrative and work site requirements on a project
- Recognise permit, isolation and site control failures and take corrective action before work continues
- Inspect permit-controlled and construction activities against Saudi Aramco criteria and record findings
- Produce an Aramco Contractor Site HSE Compliance Pack for the participant's own contract
