Introduction
Products reach the Saudi market only when their conformity evidence under SASO technical regulations is complete, current and accepted on the SABER platform. Registrations are rejected, shipments are held at the border and Saudi Quality Mark licences are suspended because test reports fall outside scope, technical files are incomplete or certificates lapse after a model change. This Core Concept course equips conformity and quality staff to classify products against SASO technical regulations, choose the right certification route under the ISO/IEC 17000 series, and manage SABER certificates and quality marks. Participants leave with a SABER Conformity and Registration Dossier Plan.
Course Objectives
- Classify products against applicable SASO technical regulations and identify the conformity assessment route each one requires on SABER
- Distinguish certification scheme types under ISO/IEC 17067 and select SASO-accepted conformity assessment bodies and accredited laboratories
- Assemble a technical file and supporting evidence that meets SABER registration and certificate requirements
- Manage Product and Shipment Certificates of Conformity through validity periods, model changes and renewals
- Apply Saudi Quality Mark, factory inspection and product safety requirements to reduce rejection and recall exposure
- Produce a SABER Conformity and Registration Dossier Plan for a product line
